Task Analysis

After selecting an appropriate task to promote, students were required to research various examples of current task-oriented information systems (Heimlich Maneuver promotions, Cardiac Defibrillator instructions, etc.) and write an evaluation (typed, 250 word min.) comparing and contrasting the elements that support or discourage clear and concise information for homework.

As an in-class assignment, students were then asked to write a Task Analysis based on their selected endeavor; being specific and making sure that the analysis and writing were accurate and specific. Using the aforementioned research, students then developed a series of a minimum of four illustrations that supported their written analysis.
